Fox 2 in the Morning Appearance

Hi all!

How is everyone?  I want to thank you all for the awesome feedback I’ve been getting about the book.  It means so much to me that people are enjoying it and that it’s resonating with people.

Last week, I was on TV in St. Louis!  They asked me to come on the weekend show while I was home.  As luck would have it, I was already going to be there for my niece, Caroline’s, baptism.  Everything happens for a reason:)

I’m not going to lie… my nerves were through the roof.  I’ve never in my life had a panic attack before, but I think Saturday night (before the morning show Sunday), I was as close to that as you can be.  Luckily, my mom was with me.  In an effort to calm me down, she Google’d “interview questions for an author.” It worked like a charm.  We went through a huge list of questions – I thought through the answers – and was finally able to sleep.

Thank goodness! I started having flashbacks to graduate school when I had to be on air for my Journalism class.  I was so nervous the night before the show, I had a seizure.  But, I made it through being on TV this time seizure free!

Do you have any great interview questions that you’ve been asked?   Any that totally stumped you?

This is an exciting week for me and all of my friends and family!  One week from today my book, Seize the Day, will be available for purchase on Amazon.com:)  It’s been a long time coming, but our team (including my publisher, my editor, and myself) are putting the final touches on it and getting ready to roll it out to the masses!
